STEMinlibraries.com was created by Heather Love Beverley and Heather Thompson, otherwise known as the Heathers. Together, they both share a passion for creating fun and engaging STEM programs for library patrons of all ages. Between the two of them, they have created and presented hundreds of entertaining and educational STEM programming, which they are delighted to share with their fellow librarians both on the blog and in person with presentation and webinars.
Some presentations the Heathers have done include 52 Weeks of STEM @ Your Library at the 2015 Illinois Library Association, the 2016 PLA Conference, 2016 PLA Virtual Conference, and the 2016 ALA Annual Conference ALSC as a Hot Topic Session. They collaborated with Cyndi Hamann at the 2018 Annual Conference presenting Beyond the Bots: Teen STEM Programs on the Cheap. They led a webinar, From Tots to Teens: STE(A)M-Powered Ideas for Programming, for WebJunction.
