Heather Love Beverley is the Assistant Manager of Youth Services at Cook Memorial Public Library District in Libertyville/Vernon Hills, Illinois. She was a 2012 ALA Emerging Leader, sponsored by PLA; a 2011 Team Member of ILEADU: 21st Century Technology Tool Institute for Illinois Library Staff; and a 2010 Synergy: Illinois Library Leadership Initiative participant.  

Helping others is Heather B’s true passion; she loves sharing the joy of learning with both her community and her fellow library workers. At her library, she plans and presents a wide variety of programming for all age levels, covering everything from STEM to storytimes to crafts to DIY workshops. In her free time, she volunteers on state and national library committees, and teacher various technology classes at other libraries. In addition, Heather B is also a co-creator of KitchenSinkRA.com, a blog that seeks to match a person’s non-book interests to a book.
